Use a design to quickly apply formatting to an entire file and give it a contemporary, polished look. Go to Design > Designs. Move your mouse over a design to see what it would look like in your documents and browse to the design you want. If you want, you can also pick a new one. In the Design page, click a new template.
Choose Design > Colors. Pointer to a colour to see how it will look in your documents and choose a colour theme. Choose Design > Fonts. Pointer to a typeface to see what it will look like in your documents and choose a typeface.
Applying a Topic in Word Instructions and Video Lessons
Apply a Word theme to your documents with ease. A " theme " in Word is a compilation of stylesets. Every stylistic theme has its own fonts, colors, spacing, and other formats. You can apply a topic in Word to a specific Word page by clicking the Design ribbon.
Click the Topics drop-down arrow in the Format Documents toolbar group to open a drop-down list. Then you can move your cursor over any topic in the menus to see a previewer in your work. Just click on the topic you want to use to apply it to your work.

This resets your page to the standard theme, regardless of which style sheet you used to generate it. To make a design you select the standard for any new empty paper created, click the Design ribbon on the Ribbon. Click the Make Standard icon on the right side of the Format Doc group.
You can apply a topic in Word to a specific Word page by clicking the Design ribbon. Click the Themes drop-down box in the Format Documents group. Move the mouse pointer over a topic in the drop-down list to see it previewed in your work. Then, click a topic to apply it to your work.
In order to delete an attached theme, click on the "Theme" register card in the ribbon. Click the Designs drop-down tool. To use the standard theme for the theme that you used to created the original file, select the Reset to Theme from Template command. 1. Click the Set as Default icon on the right side of the Format Documents group.
