Create your own design using the Topic Editor.

Customize the designs for different resources caterers. Visualise the effect of colour changes on popular interface items. The following page presents the basic operations you can do with the Scene Editor and how to do them. In this section, you will learn how to call the Topic Editor and how it is structured.

You can open the Topic Notepad in two ways: Click Open Notepad at the top right of the Files pane in an open-style, e.g. styles.xml, XML document. In the Tools submenu, select Topic Notepad. There are two parts to the scene editors primary display. You can see on the leftside of the Editors what certain UI items, such as the application toolbar or a sublime icon, look like when you are applying the design to them.

On the right side of the editors, the name of the actual style, the modul in which the style is define and the preferences for topic ressources like superior style and colourPrimary are displayed. Change your designs by modifying these asset properties. You can use the Scene Enhancer to add new designs, change your designs, and control the colours that make up your designs.

Perform these actions to design a theme: Select the Top right Topic drop-down box in the Top Topic Editor. Select New Design. From the New Design box, type a name for the new design. Click the higher-level item from which the design takes it' original resource in the Topic Name drop-down box.

If you want to re-name a design, do the following: Select the Top right Topic drop-down list in the Top Topic Editor. Type a new name for the design in the Rename Design box. If you want to modify an available colour source, such as colourPrimary, do this: see these steps: Click on the coloured field next to the name of the resources you want to edit in the design editor.

You see the Resources dialogue box, which shows a listing of colour groups on the right, and information and preferences for the currently chosen colour on the right. Specify a topic object colour by either choosing a colour from the area on the far-left or by defining a new colour as described below.

Color is displayed in the resource dialog's list box in the upper right corner and is divided into the following groups. Topic attributes: Those are properties of the currently chosen topic. The design references them and they can vary according to which design you have chosen. Topic properties can never be edited from the resource dialogue.

Click in the dropdown list at the top right of the Resources dialogue box New Resources > New Value. In the Resources box, an Editable right panel appears with an empty name box where you can specify a name for your user-defined paint. Use the following procedure to customize the colour. In the Name box, empty, type a name for your new value.

Colour gamut, custom colour patch and dropper: Click on the desired colour on the colour bar. Colors are displayed in the Custom Colors box. Using the drop down menu to the right of the Custom Colour box, you can choose a colour. If you choose a different colour, the colour in the Custom Colour box changes to the colour you chose.

Directly below the Custom Colour box, use the customisable boxes and drop-down menus on the far right to specify an RGB, HSB, or ARGB colour by number. Your HEX equivalents are displayed in the rightmost editing area. In order to adjust the colour haze and tone, move the slider under the colour bar.

Choose one of the available pre-defined patches. Colors appear in the Custom Colors box, and the name changes to the name of the custom colors you choose. When the Resources dialogue box is closed, you return to the scene editor. They can change any colour that can be edited. Once a colour is edited, you will see editing boxes for colour, shade, coverage, name box and instrument setup.

If you want to know why some cells are editingable and others are not, see Selecting Colour. When you have specified or changed a customized job colour, you can make sure that the colour is the same as the colour of the materials pallet by selecting CLOSE COLOUR next to the customized colour. Hint: The function CLOSEST MATERIAL COLOR is only visible if the color is not already a material color.

You can use the ad spec editor to display a pre-view of the colours assigned to different states. Open the Resources dialogue by tapping on the colour sets field next to the name of an Editable Status Listsource. In the Resources box, you see a listing of states, such as Chosen, and the value of colour associated with the state.

For a state, click the colour to change the colour value. Once a colour can be edited, you can specify device-specific settings for your supported application. Opens the Ressources dialogue box. To open the Ressourcen dialogue box, see Change colour ressources. Pick a project colour, and then click Devices Definition at the bottom right of the window to extend the devices definition, displaying the location and name of the resulting XML containing the asset, as well as a listing of configuration-specific folders in which to place this asset.
