May I use Woocommerce with any topic?

They can also be displayed as a shop page, via project links or via widgets. Theoretically, any plugin should work with any WordPress theme (which is properly encoded). WordPress themes work perfectly with WooCommerce. Use Woocommerce with any topic by following the integration instructions. It' a great message, especially if you have already selected your design and want to keep it.

WooCommerce PlugIn added to any theme

Anyone can now simply build a free, fully featured and e-commerce site in WordPress by simply attaching WooCommerceplugin to any WordPress. org website. WooCommerce has you under control, whether you are trying to resell just four different pieces of downloadable gear or 400 different T-shirts. This free plug-in contains most of the features that businesses will need, but WooCommerce also has a number of additional WooCommerce features that offer additional features for more uncommon needs.

Say goodbye to the WooCommerce plugins in this guide. This guide guides you through how to add the WooCommerce plug-in to any WordPress theme and shows you how to create the necessary boxes to make your e-commerce site fit to make a living. See screen shots of the e-commerce site creation lifecycle in this Tutorial with the standard theme Twenty Twelve as the basic theme.

Enter "WooCommerce" in the browse box on this page and click on "Search Plugins". 1B ) The first outcome should be "WooCommerce - excellent eCommerce". 2A) WooCommerce is simple! When you have WooCommerce up and running, you should see a violet panel at the top of your desktop with a pushbutton called "Install WooCommerce Pages" - click this pushbutton.

When you click on "Install WooCommerce pages", 11 pages will be created for you: Shopping Cart, Checkout, Checkout, Checkout, Order Receipt, My Account, Change Password, Change My Address, Unsubscribe, Forgot Password, View Order and Shop. These pages are all already up and running and do not need any additional changes, but you can modify them if you want by simply pressing "Edit" on one of these pages.

Set up the general WooCommerce preferences. 3A ) If you have WooCommerce on your computer, a new tabs has been added to the menu on the top right of your desktop. Choose WooCommerce>Settings. At the top of the setup page, there is a tabs page with different pages of option. At the moment we will only deal with the "General" preferences, the other necessary preferences like shipment and billing will be discussed later in this example.

3D ) Check the remainder of the list of available features and customize them to your needs. Usually this also makes it easy to maintain the shop and website, which you can keep up with as you don't have to maintain people's personal information, or all your pages have your menus overloaded. Below is an image of the settings on the General Settings page that I would suggest for a basic eCommerce site.

4A ) If you have WooCommerce on your computer, a user-defined mail item named "Products" has been generated for your website. There is a tabs in the summary page of the summary for these items that you can insert in a similar way to how you insert a posting. 4B ) Your item name, insert your item name into the regular contents area and insert a feature picture by selecting "Set Feature Picture" in the bottom right area.

Choose or drop an icon from your Desktop into the adding items dialog and click the " Define feature size icon " button. With WooCommerce displaying all the presented pictures as rectangles, it's a good idea to make the picture squared before uploading it. In order for the pictures to be sharp, the size of the pictures should be 300×300 pixels.

4C ) If you intend to distinguish different kinds of products, categorise your products on the right side by either click on "+ Adds new products category", enter the name of the products and choose "Adds new products category". "Or if you have already added items, just tick the boxes of the items that contain the item (e.g. categories: T-shirts, shoes, hoodies, accessories etc.).

4D ) Give this item a prize by typing a number in the "Regular Prize ($)" box in the Item Details section directly below the Primary Contents area. Underneath you can see a picture showing the different areas of the products page with the contents I typed in. The 4B-4D are the absolute necessary things to be added for each and every item.

There are many other things you can do for each individual item, dependent on the type of item and the choices you want to do. Continue to follow 4A-4D at least 4 of your 4 items. We' ll discuss some extra features later in the guide after we've setup these first items to appear on your website.

When you use a design that has been developed for use with WooCommerce, there may be several different parts that present the product in an appealing way. They can also be displayed as a store page, via links to projects or via a widget. To see the items you have already added to your site, go to the Store page, which was generated by default when you started installing the WooCommerce pages.

Click on any of the pictures on the "Shop" page and it will take you to the personal page of that particular item, or click on "Add to cart" to see how the shopping basket works (and that it already works (almost) uncomplicated). Bottom is my store page, after I followed the directions from 4 steps to adding four items.

"Choose options" under "It's never too late" is the icon that is displayed for variables that will be discussed in steps 6 of this step. 5B ) Short numbers of products: With WooCommerce you have built-in links that you can easily attach to any blog entry, page or blogget. Abbreviations exist to show presented items, current items, items by categories, and you can also choose how many items you want to show with each abbreviation.

You can find an example of the short code "recent products" with a max. of 4 displayed items on the start page of the example page made for this example. This is the short code "recent products" that was used[ recent_products per_page="4? columns="4? orderby="date" order="desc"]. WooCommerce 5C) WooCommerce Widget Product: WooCommerce has a few WooCommerce related Widget items that are added as " available Widget items " whenever you download and use WooCommerce.

The WooCommerce Kart Widget can be added to your home page bar to provide a comfortable way for individuals to display their shopping carts. Game around by attaching these different Widgets to your page bar and see what you think would be useful to have them on your website. Set up variable products in WooCommerce (e.g. shirts with multiple colours and sizes).

Varying product are those that have different characteristics, such as size or colour, from which the purchaser can choose. Unless you sell variables, you can bypass this stage. 6A ) First, you will need to enter some additional properties that you can apply to your product. Attribute would be things like color and size for T-shirts, dimensions if you sell fine arts print, or format if you sell both CD and CD format as well as downloadable format.

Browse to the Products Properties page by clicking Products>Attributes from the WordPress Dashboard Hauptmenu. Generate your own custom properties by completing the option on the "Add New Attribute" page and choosing "Add Attribute" (see figure below). 6C ) Browse to "Attributes" in the Produktdatenbereich. 4D ) Insert the products that refer to the products you are currently working on.

" If you activate "Visible on the Products page", the value of the products properties will be displayed on the products page. Perform 6B-6E for each characteristic related to the item you are currently working on. 6G ) Store the item. When you are done add value to your products properties, browse to the Variants page in the Products Data section.

6I ) Append any variations that have a one-of-a-kind feature, such as a different picture, a different prize, a different inventory (if you manage the inventory), etc. Fill in the pricing for each variant, even if it is identical to the mother item. A picture can be added to a variant by pressing the (+) symbol in the field on the far right.

Choose the best looking variant at the bottom for the standard picture. Then click on the "Save attributes" pushbutton. 6J ) If you have a range of products with varieties that have singular pictures, you can create a "Product Gallery" on the Products page so that users can see all the varieties without having to move through the drop-down Selector.

You will see "Product Gallery" on the page for processing the products on the forefront. Please click on "Add pictures to your shopping basket" and insert all pictures of the different products. Store the item and take a look at the item page. Have a look at the results on the products page of the sample page or at the picture below.

7A ) The delivery charges can be determined by using different delivery categories so that you can calculate different delivery charges for different groups of goods. When you have items that are shipped at different prices, go to Products>Shipping Categories and configure your different categories. Go to WooCommerce>Settings>Shipping>Flatrate, turn on package shipment, and you can include extra charges to all groups of items that are more costly to shipp.

Other WooCommerce add-on plug-ins are available that allow more detailed delivery choices when you want to send around the globe and with different delivery choices. In order to create a sophisticated chart that specifies shipment by city, state, country, or region, you can load the Rate Shipping plug-in. Or there is a Shipping Method plug-in if you want to send via FS and want to provide a similarly sophisticated dispatch chart.

7B ) It is possible to configure payments gateways under WooCommerce>Settings>PaymentGateways. There' a lot of possibilities: Via the PayPal payments portal, shoppers can either make payments with their PayPay accounts or, if they do not have an existing one, with a debit / debit slip.
