Any way to change the backgrounds of tabbed files so that they are not so upsetting? Change this colour: you are welcome! Because I don't want anyone else to have the notion of how my tab should look, I have to guess/try some of the thousands(?) of topics just to change the tab colors.

I found no other way but to use someone else's theme ideas that I don't like. I haven't found any other solutions than to use someone else's ideas from a topic I don't like. This was the beautiness of Windows over Macs, and until now, Firefox and its predecessor (Netscape, etc.), configuration. Would it be interesting to see the meeting notes: "What colour should we impose on users"?
Oh, we can't make up our minds, and we certainly don't want to let the USER make up our minds, so we'll just work with it.
