To turn your store into a multi-vendor marketplace using the Divi Photo Marketplace Layout Pack

Recently, our creative staff published a professionally designed photo marketplace package that is one of our free Divi layouts packages that we gave away every weekend. Given that this lay-out is really designed as a marketplace, I thought it would be a great chance to implement multi-vendor capability. It will be of great value to marketplace operators who want to grow the amount of their product for their members and grow the sales of their business.

Today I will show you how you can set up a multi-vendor marketplace with the Fotomarktplatz package. I will use WooCommerce, Productendors and WooCommerce Products Filter plug-ins. I' ll show you how to set up the product provider plug-in correctly to be able to add new providers and administer them, set up a provider sign-up page and much more.

I will also give you hints on how to use parts of the current layouts to build new (but necessary) pages for your marketplace. Downlaod the Photo Marketplace layouts package and import the Fashion_All. JPG files into your Divi Theme library. New pages can be created for each page of your website. Generate your main submenu.

When you are baffled by the above set-up, you will find step-by-step directions for setting up your layouts correctly by going through these 10 easy to follow procedures for using a package of layouts for your new work. As soon as you have the Product Supplier plug-in for WooCommerce up and running, you will be able to configure your supplier marketplace preferences.

Go from your Worpress Dashboard to WooCommerce > Preferences > Products > Merchant. This section contains your Customizing options for handling supplier payment. However, the cool thing is that it uses the bulk payment API to allow you to commission your sellers at one time.

You have two options for adding a new supplier to your marketplace. Allows you to physically annotate each supplier or generate a registry document that allows the supplier to do so. Proceed as follows to enter a supplier manually: Each time you want to work on a specific provider, you can come to this page and find it on the right side of the page.

Supplier's functionalities are similar to a WordPress class. A second way to bring new suppliers to your website is to bring the football into the supplier's field and allow them to complete this for you. The only thing you need to do is prepare a supplier enrollment document that the supplier can use to register for supplier affiliation.

It is necessary for us to set up a new page to which our suppliers can submit so that they can use our sign-up page. Because we use the Photo Marketplace Layouts Pack, we can simply use the layouts of the Categories page (which is already stored in my library) to launch our registry page. Make a new page and name it "Vendor Registration".

Then, provide the viewer and upload the Fotomarkt categories for the page. Here you will place the short code used to create the supplier enrollment request in. Hint: Since you copy this text block, the H2 headers are designed to be used to create the headers of the forms used in the short codes.

In the textbrick, you can apply extra style because, although it is an abbreviation, the text on the forms it provides can be stylised by some of the textbrick preferences. In this way, you can take complete charge of the layout of the form that matches your website.

Then use the online editors to set the head text to "Vendor Registration" and the sub-head text to something like "Sell Your Products Here". Then, refresh the section heading above the key combination of the forms to view "Fill This Forms to Become a Supplier. In order to see what your application looks like, open the page in a home page so that you are not signed in.

When a supplier completes the application forms, what happens? If a supplier completes the supplier registration request, it will be added to your website as an outstanding supplier. To enable their supplier affiliation, you must upgrade their supplier roles to Admin ( or Manager if you want them to have full ownership of other suppliers).

As soon as the roles have been upgraded, the outstanding supplier now has full site permission as the supplier administrator, and an e-mail is sent out to him to inform him that his subscription has been accepted. As soon as the new supplier signs in to your website with their new login details, the WordPressashboard displays a user-defined Dashboard ad that provides a useful overview of your sale.

Suppliers can then use the user-defined menus to administer their stores by creating customized items, optimising their shop preferences, creating customized reporting and much more. The addition of a new item for a supplier is about the same way you would normally do it with WooCommerce. So the only true distinction is that you now have the ability to associate items with suppliers.

If, for example, I want to upload a new image file for a marketplace, I would follow the following steps: As soon as you have assigned a supplier, this emerges as a supplier under the supplier side of this supplier, which he can modify. Supplier's name is also displayed under each of the branch stores' items.

Once a provider has accessed the site as a provider administrator, they can build their own custom web site so you don't have to. Every one of the vendors' creations is allocated to it directly in the stores. If you are a retailer, you can define a standard fee (or a special fee) to be payable to the supplier for each item you sell.

From the Supplier Fee page, you can administer the payments of these fees by going to the Fee page in the WordPress Dashboard. You can see all your sales and their provision state ( e.g. invalid, payed or unpaid). Every time you use WooCommerce, a store page is generated on your name.

All your items are displayed on this store page with the option of searching the results via a drop-down list in the top right hand corner. Click on the "Filter" button to see the results. The WooCommerce Product Filters plug-in allows you to provide a much better viewing environment for the users (probably necessary for a large photography marketplace).

As soon as you have the plug-in up and running, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Product filtering and refresh the tree to incorporate the filtering you want to use. Instead, I'll go directly into how you can apply the filtering to your store page. In order to apply the product filtering to the side bar of your store page, go to Appearance > Widgets.

Find the WOOF - WooCommerce Products Filter Widget and drop it into your side bar. Hint: Another possibility is to pull the Vendors Widget (included with the Vendors plugin) into theidebar. Allows you to see the supplier associated with a particular item when you are viewing a particular item page.

Take a look at your store page now to see the new item filters. You now have a high-performance filtering system that makes it incredibly simple for your customers to find the right one. Hopefully you will find this article useful for establishing your own multi-vendor marketplace. Most of this use case concentrated on the implications of the vendors plugins, so you can see how it works with WooCommerce and Divi.

Naturally, with this set-up you can yourselves any kind of products, not only digitally downloaded. All you have to do is investigate how you want to do things like ship with your other suppliers. WooCommerce's site and extension styles, as always, continue to be a challenging one. Divi makes it easy, however, with the possibility to use module to create certain contents provided by shortcuts (such as WooCommerce pages) and integrate layout items to better customize the website layout.
