The transfer of Envato account is not permitted - Commercial

Due to a @andreasnrb Tweets I was made aware that the transfer of Envato account (like ThemeForest, CodeCanyon, etc.) is not permitted. See section 9 of the Envato Market Terms 9: Your Responsibilities for details: Provide a commitment that the information you provide will be truthful, accurate and/or comprehensive and that you will keep your account information up to date (including a valid e-mail address).

Envato Markets Web sites may be used by you in connection with your user name and password, so keep your Password safe and do not allow anyone else to use your user name or your Password. Apparently topics can be moved to another account, but any account histories (sales numbers, élite states, badges, etc.) cannot.

Attach this article because folks are still trying to keep trying to resell Envato account here. You have a dilemma with that, speak to Envato, not me. I am pleased to allow contributions on the sale of Envato Contacts if they allow it. When you set up a ThemeForest themed store with the intent to yourselves someday offer it for sale, consider this before you build it on a trading site where it's against the rule to do so.

Letting the transmission of bank Accounts be permitted would provide an additional stimulus to attackers to gain entry to precious bank Account and assert claims to possession in order to be able to resell those Bank Account. If, on the other side, your account is managed and recorded under a company name with an e-mail address that could remain the same, and you have one of these days resold the company to another institution that will continue your good work and maintain your good name, I assume that the resale of the company could make it possible to open the Envato account.

This requires that the Envato account holder is a designer and remains the same designer (only the property of the designer changes hands). There would definitely be a flaw if those with big bags simply purchased as many bank balances as possible, then after the takeover they loosened the supporting and servicing while still withdrawing money from the sale.

I' m just not sure whether a general prohibition on account transfers really does solve everything. Will only act as another disincentive for Envato to build your company. If, on the other side, your account is managed and recorded under a company name with an e-mail address that could remain the same, and you have one of these days resold the company to another institution that will continue your good work and maintain your good name, I assume that the resale of the company could make it possible to open the Envato account.

It is the perfect use case for account transfer. I' d appreciate it if Envato would sort this out.
