When you upgrade to Avada 5. 0+ from Avada 4.0.
If the Fusion Builder installation level is less than or equal to 3, the Fusion Builder installation pushbutton is disabled to make sure that the Fusion Core plugin is upgraded first. When you first use Avada 5.0, the order of installation and enablement of the Fusion Core and Fusion Builder plug-ins does not affect your first installation. The Avada > Plugs section shows the two Avada plug-ins you need, the Fusion Core and the Fusion Builder plugin.
Fusion Builder Plugin Install Click is deactivated to make sure that the Fusion Core Plugin is upgraded first. In case you unintentionally install the Fusion Builder plugin before upgrading Fusion Core, please read our "Troubleshooting" section below. The Avada > Plugs section shows the two Avada plug-ins you need, the Fusion Core and the Fusion Builder plugin.
Provided it is a reinstallation and you are not upgrading from a later release, the Fusion Core and Fusion Builder plugin setup and deployment order does not affect. Ensure that both are enabled so that Avada works properly. 1 - Browse to the Avada Tab > Plugins.
Stage 2 - Here you can see the two needed plug-ins, Fusion Core and Fusion Builder. You must have the Fusion Core plugin installed before you can do this. 4 - Move your mouse over the Fusion Core plugin picture and click the "Install" icon. Once the installation is complete and the plugin is activated, click the "Back to Plugin Installer" icon.
5 - Move your mouse over the plugin picture and click the "Install" tool. Once the installation is complete and the plugin is activated, click the "Back to Plugin Installer" icon. Stage 6 - Once completed, you can now use Fusion Builder on any page or posting you make.
Notice: The Fusion Builder GUI is not activated by setting the page or posting to open by defaults. You can, however, modify this to global and always keep the Fusion Builder on for pages and postings by going to the Fusion Builder > Preferences > Fusion Builder Auto Activation page. When you have upgraded to Avada 5.0+ and somehow succeeded in installing and activating the Fusion Builder plugin before upgrading the Fusion Core plugin, you may encounter catastrophic bugs on your website.
Stage 1 - Login to your FTP account and browse to the wp-content/plugins directory of your WordPress install. Stage 2 - Locate the Fusion Builder plugin directory called fusion-builder and change its temporary name to something else. Such as Fusion Builder Dish. After this is done, login to your website's Web Dashboard and browse to the Avada > plug-ins page.
Find the Fusion Core plugin and upgrade it accordingly. Stage 4 - Once again using FTP, browse to the wp-content > Plugins directory and change the name of the Fusion Builder plugin directory back to its initial name, Fusion Builder. Finally, login to your website's widget dashboard and browse to the Avada > plug-ins page.
You' ll see that the Fusion Builder plugin is activated now.
