GoDaddy purchased the Marchex and Worldwide Media domains in April 2015 and November 2015, respectively. GoDaddy took over ManageWP on 6 September 2016. GoDaddy took over Sucuri on 22 March 2017. When GoDaddy decided not to pursue its NASCAR sponsoring in 2016, it intended to move the sponsoring to a more internationally-reaching path.

GoDaddy, however, is trying to win Patrick over for a face-to-face maintenance agreement. GoDaddy sponsored the GoDaddy Bows from 2011 to 2015, a post-season collegiate soccer match in Mobile, Alabama, which was previously labeled the GMAC Bows before GMAC received TARP funds in 2009. GoDaddy published his Super Bowl ad on YouTube on 27 January 2015.

And GoDaddy says that the ad should be hilarious and an effort to make a joke of all the little ones shown in Super Bowl adverts. GoDaddy's chief executive officer, Blake Irving, later that night posted a blogs in which he promised that the spot would not be broadcast during the Super Bowl. 120 ] He writes in his blog: "At the end of the afternoon, our goal at GoDaddy is to help small companies around the globe establish a thriving global business web experience.

" As he continues to say, Buddy was bought by a respected grower and is part of the GoDaddy line as Chief Companion Officer. As of September 10, 2012, a large network downtime due to corrupt routing table resulted in a 4.5 hour long network downtime that temporarily affected million of customer locations.

MAGNAGER stuck to the GoDaddy infrastructural standards and stated an availability of 99.999%. 125 ] GoDaddy later said in an excuse email to his clients on 14 September 2012 that the failure was due to the damage to routing tables [126][127] and confirmed evidence that it affected tens of thousands of websites and emails.

Competing NameCheap, the world''s leading provider of Internet services, alleged that GoDaddy was violating ICANN regulations by supplying partial information to help stop GoDaddy's protests from GoDaddy to NameCheap[ 133], an allegation GoDaddy has rejected by alleging that he is following his usual commercial practices to stop World Health Organization (WHOIS) misuse.

134 ] GoDaddy continues to adhere to the stringent guideline that registration transfer between registrars is blocked for 60 consecutive workingdays if registrants' data has changed. GoDaddy again submitted a $100 million initial public offering to the Security and Exchange Commission in June 2014. The submission gave an insight into GoDaddy's financial history and showed that the business has not made a single gain since 2009 and has suffered a $531 million overall financial deficit since 2012.

GoDaddy's founding partner Bob Parsons together with the initial public offering announce that he will step down as Executive Chairman although he will stay on the Executive Committee. 145 ] Current CEO Blake Irving came to GoDaddy on January 6, 2013.
