Godaddy web Hosting EmailGOODADDY Web Hosting Email
webhosting - keep email at the registry, but webhost elsewhere.
I' m currently creating a website for a customer who bought their own Godaddy domains and email. You have been using the email for quite some quality and have recently chosen to get a website where I can be found. A godaddy portable application exists that the customer uses to review his emails on portable computers, and when he logs into godaddy on a desktop/laptop, he does not use any email client other than godaddy.
Before I realized that the customer had an email about Godaddy, I forwarded the DNA to my hosting company and everything worked well except that it interrupted the email. The Godaddy offers MX record and CNAME, but the CNAME only gives detail for Mac, Impress and STP. Are those A-Records?
So if my customer only uses Godaddy and no outside customers, do I get away with just giving my hosting service the right MX record and giving Godaddy the new usords? Got to run the site with a seperate hosting, but keep the email feature on godaddy....is that possible?
Set up the new email account with messaging, copy all old email to the new email account, and set up your customers' email account with email client and messaging to synchronize email across their different machines. This is Godaddy's MX record........ Search other queries with the tag web hosting DNA email mx or ask your own query.
