Adding pictures and video - Google Web Designer Help
Every picture and video you use in Google Web Designer is added to the library so you can re-use it in your documents. tags. The Google Web Designer uses the appropriate tags whenever you are adding a picture in design mode. From the File submenu, choose Import Assets.....
Key combination for importing objects is Ctrl+Shift+I (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+I (Mac). Using the dialogue box, choose the name of the data you want to export. Asset names are displayed in the Documents pane and in the Library. Using your computer's filesystem Browser, choose the picture or movie you want to use.
It is possible to choose more than one file. In the Google Web Designer Documents pane, drop the picture or movie. Choose Studio from the drop-down list at the top of the Library. Join the Studio Asset Library by pressing the Launch Buttons. When you' re not logged in, you will be asked to log in to the Google Account associated with your Studio Account.
Browse through the Folders tree to the assets you want to use. From the Library, drop the object into the Documents pane where you want to use it. Add a copy of the assets to the library under the Studios directory. You can use the "Swap Image" feature to change one picture for another.
Right click on the picture you want to change. Choose Swap Picture... from the pop-up list. Either choose an item from the Library from the dialogue box, or click + to bring in an item from your computer. Choose the item symbol in the symbol list. Choose the picture item symbol or the videoclip item symbol from the symbol list.
Click and drag in the working area to make an item the right-sized you want. Specify the location of the picture or movie in the Properties pane. The pictures are adapted in height and elongation to the measurements of the plotted part. In the Library pane, you can view pictures and movies that you have added to this work.
From the Library, choose picture or videofiles by selecting their name. Dragging the objects to the work area where you want to use them. The Web Designer saves a copy of the library's built-in assembly file in the subfolder of Assets in the Google Web designer's Projects directory.
