On of the most frequently asked question I get is how to create a statical homepage in WordPress. If you want your reader to see the same coherent messaging every times they see your blogs, a good thing is a page with a statical layout. Remember, however, one of the trademarks of a good blogs is fresher, new contents, so you still want to make your latest blogs post easy to access, even if you use a fixed homepage.
You will see "Displays on the Front Panel" at the top of the Reading Settings page. Choose the "A page that is static" option. From the Title Page: drop-down menu, choose the page you generated in #1. Now you have a statical homepage! You will see "Displays on the Front Panel" at the top of the Reading Settings page.
Choose the "A page that is static" option. Choose the page you generated in #1 from the Mail Page: drop-down list. Contributions will now be displayed on the page you chose.

The Current Activities dashboard shows the latest notifications, news, tasks, and discussions in your course. It has the same contents functions as a default page. The Assignment ListShows all tasks in a course, with pending and current tasks at the top. The Curriculum with Assignment ListLets you include contents such as a course title, link, pictures, etc. in a Rich Contents dialog, and also shows all tasks in your course.
