HTML-friendly web design
Which is Responsive Web Design? The Responsive Web Design is about using HTML and CSS in order to size, conceal, shrink and/or extend a website so that it looks good on all types of equipment (desktops, tables and mobile phones): If you want to create attractive web pages, insert the following item into all your web pages:
It sets the Viewer of your page, which tells the web browser how to adjust the page size and scale. This is an example of a web page without the lookport beta tags and the same web page with the lookport beta tags: Excluding the lookport beta tag:
Using the viewing port' meeta tag: Responsible imagery is imagery that scales well to accommodate any sized web browsers. Setting the width to 100% causes the picture to react and zoom in and out: Note that in the example above, the picture can be resized to be bigger than its fullness.
Setting the max-width to 100% will shrink the resulting file if necessary, but never enlarge it to be bigger than its initial size: HTML allows you to specify different pictures for different sized browsers. To see how the below screen changes according to its width, please enlarge the width of the web page: The text can be resized using a "vw" entity, i.e. the "View Panel Width".
In this way, the text sizes follows the sizes of the browsers windows: Change the width of the web page to see how the text sizes. This is the screen area of the webpage. 1/vw = 1% of the width of the Viewer. When the Viewer is 50cm in width, lvw is 0.5cm. Besides resizing text and pictures, it is also usual to use query forms in appealing websites.
You can use your own query to create different lifestyles for different browsers. For example, change the size of the web browsing pane to see the three following four items displayed on large displays in horizontal stack and on small displays in vertical stack: float: left; float: left; float: left; Tip: For more information on Responsive Web Design and press inquiries, please see our RWD Tutorial.
