Document template is information about the standard content that is created when a new document is created. Dependent on the kind of document you create, template documents offer the original code and formats that are required in all documents of this kind (industry standard, your company guideline, or otherwise).

The PhpStorm provides pre-defined template files for all Supported Files proposed when you create a new one.
