From April 2, 2006 - all of Indiana is watching summer time. With effect from 2 April 2006, the eight Indiana districts of Daviess, Dubois, Knox, Martin, Perry, Pike, Pulaski and Starke switched from the Eastern to the Middle Time zone. Pulaski County returned to the eastern time zone with effect from 11 March 2007.
The Pulaski district had previously relocated from Eastern to Central Time with effect from 2 April 2006. Pulaski's application to go back to the eastern time zone has been accepted by the federal government. With effect from 4 November 2007 - The five districts of Daviess, Dubois, Knox, Martin and Pike changed from Middle to Eastern time with effect from the end of summer time.
Perry County's application to be returned to the eastern time zone has not been approved by the federal government.
