Use FTP to install a WordPress theme on your website.

If you' re willing to refresh the look of your WordPress-based website, you can install a WordPress theme to give your website a whole new look.... You can change WordPress topics to change the way the website is viewed by your users, clients or audiences.

A correct modification of the theme should not affect the functionality of the WordPress application. You can install a WordPress theme in several ways. Find topics directly from your own desktop and install them from the results. This manual, however, tells you how to install a WordPress theme via FTP. Unpack the file to your computer and make sure that the folder remains the same - don't modify it!

Make a new folder for your design in the WordPress folder wp-content/themes. If you want to name your topic (e.g. if you have named it "my_theme"), just followed the thread pattern of wp-content/themes/my_theme. Now choose the theme of your website by login to your admin panel in WordPress, go to the Appearance sub-tab and click them.

Then, choose the new design and click Activate. This is how you install a WordPress theme with FTP. In order to see this topic in Action, click View Website, which is located at the top of the admin area.
