To install a purchase design
If you buy a WordPress theme, you will usually receive a PDF archive containing a PDF archive of the WordPress theme. There are a few easy things to do to get this topic uploaded to your website. You will probably receive this alert when you upgrade to a newer release of an already installed design: If this is the case, you will need to change the topics momentarily (perhaps to the default).
Locate the topic you want to supersede, click Theme Details, and then click Delete. You can now upgrade to the newer one. You cannot submit your own designs when you use WordPress.com. When your zipped files contain more than one topic, you need to extract them and then recompress each topic separately. Buy topics only from trustworthy sources - otherwise you run the risk of getting a chopped down copy (no fun).

Installing a WordPress theme
As well as the standard theme contained in your WordPress install, you can also install your own WordPress theme to modify the look and feel of your site. In order to administer your WordPress topics, extend the publication menus in the WordPress Dashboard. Here you can see the page Managing topics. You can see your topic at the top of this page.
Our topical theme in this case is the twenty-twelve theme. When you click on this button, a thumbnail will appear where you can make changes to the page title and tagline, colours, adding another wallpaper, or changing the statics of the page. Returning to the Manage Topics page, you will see a listing of available topics below the currently selected topic.
Those are topics that have been added to your WordPress page. When you click the Link to Live Previews below a theme, you'll see a glimpse of what your website would look like with that theme. Previews allow you to browse to different pages to see how the design deals with postings, files, and other page styles.
You can also change the design preferences in the area on the far right of the thumbnail. Each of these options varies according to which theme functions the theme has. In order to apply the new preferences and enable the design in one go, click the Save & Enable icon at the top right of the screen.
In order to install Topics, click the Install Topics button. At the top of this page you will find several hyperlinks to browse by topic by subject or to see the presented and latest topics from the WordPress Topics List. You can also apply filters to topics by colour, column, width or feature. Click the Submit button to submit a topic.
Once your design has been submitted, click Activate. You will now see this topic as your currently running one.
