One page Wordpress Theme
A page Wordpress theme.. It looks fantastic, the perspiration and crying your staff put into this great piece was really great!
Creating a Page Website with any WordPress Theme
There are many issues we get about how to make a page website or whether we are selling a page WordPress topics.... Any WordPress theme can be a one-page website and I will show you how easy it is.... Which is a One Page Website?.. A page website is nothing more than a website with all the main contents on a unique page, usually home page.
It is mainly used by companies that want to advertise a particular good or services in a clear and straightforward way. If you are on a one-page website, clicking navigational left will not take you to a new page, but will take you to the same page associated with the linked page contents area or downroll.
While there are many one-page WordPress topics available on-line, as I said, we can turn any topic into a single page with just a little work. And how do you build a one-page website with WordPress? A simple one-page website requires only a simple navigation bar, contents and anchors.
You all know what menus and contents do, I think, so let's discuss a little about anchors. Tie rods consist of a standard rod that points to the tie rod and the tie rod itself. Left points to the anchors are regular left points starting with the #-sign.
As for Anker itself, it is a certain place somewhere on your side. Let's take a look at a basic example. It is our left button in the menue pointing to the anchor: "And this is our contents with the armature itself: A few words of llorem lpsum....... "Something fresh from my ipsum...."
Here #middle is our anchoring and id= "middle" is our anchoring. If we click on the Go to center button, we go to our anchors titled the center of the page. In this way we can create the simplest one-page website. Let's take our recently gained know-how and use it on a WordPress page.
To this end, I have already built a basic one-page website with our GrowthPress theme, which will be our hands-on example. First of all, I made a new page and added some contents. The contents consist only of a few sections and headings. Anchor can be added to almost any HTML item, but in our case we will be adding it to all headings in the contents.
As you can see from the screenshots, in order to modify the HTML of the contents, we need to switch the Visual to Text editors. Now we can see all HTML-Tegs in our contents. Exactly as in the above screenshots, you need to append id with the anchors on these tag.
Please notice that you can write your link without #, but all link must begin with #. As soon as we have added all our Anchors in our contents, we can link them to our Ankerlinks. When you are used to WordPress, you will know that we can modify menus in wp-admin -> Appearance -> Menus and this is where we build our Anchorlinks.
You can see from the screenshots that I chose Custominks and instead of the classic address I added #about-us anchor link. Clicking on this hyperlink leads to our id= "about-us" anchors in the contents. As soon as we have added all anchors, our easy one-page website is ready.
Please click on the link and see for yourself! Yes, I completely concur, the one-page website we've done so far is great, but these immediate leaps aren't as great as the soft scroll, right? In order to scroll smoothly, we need to include some Java Script to our website.
The majority of Premier Topics have a kind of box to add user-defined coding. You can for example find in our topics under wp-admin -> Customizer -> Theme Options -> Customizing the boxes where you can add some user-defined codes, as we will do now.
You can use an appropriate plug-in if your design does not have room for the user-defined coding. As soon as you have enabled the plug-in, you will find user-defined add field in wp-admin -> Preferences -> Add headers and footers. Insert the following in one of the boxes (we suggest using a script in the footer) and you will have a fluid scroll on your Anchorlinks.
You' ve just created a side-by-side website with any WordPress theme! The above animates the scroll effect when you click on an anchored hyperlink, and also updates the currently active web browsing URL to display the anchored hyperlink you selected.
Review our final results on the final one-page website. What can I do to adjust the offsets for smooth scroll? If you have a permanent sticks in your sticks box, I would suggest that you also adjust the offsets so that the beginning of the contents begins under your sticks. They should be at least as large as the amount of your firm glutinous menus.
In this way we prevent a single issue where the beginning of your contents is hidden behind the menus. It really gets a bunch of asking if we have any kind of one-page topics, and I think the whole thing is the same as with other theme-writers. It should be clear from this paper that all WordPress topics can also be used as one-page web pages, and if you want, you can quickly convert your existing web page into a single one.
Although, the issue of whether it is better to use a single-page or multi-page website is so vast that it merits its own dedicated articles. Please let me know if the articles have given you a better understanding of a page and if you have any further queries please feel free to send me a message.
