Plugin Version

plug-in version

It is our goal that newer client versions can connect to older server versions. Maven Plugin Releases - Introduction Version Plugin is used when you want to maintain the version of an artifact in the POM of a POM containing a POM file. This version plugin has the following objectives: versions:compare-dependencies checks the traceability version of the actual version against the dependency section of the dependency section of a deployment section. versions:display-dependency-updates checks the traces of a deployment and reports on the traces for which newer releases are available.

version:display-plugin-updates will scan a project's plug-ins and generate a list of those plug-ins that have newer releases available, taking into account the requirements of the version of version ava iable in mysql. versions:display-property-updates will scan a particular version of a plug-in and generate a list of those features that are used to drive a version of artifacts and what features newer releases have available. versions:update-parent will upgrade the higher-level portion of a plug-in to point to the latest available version.

If you are using a e.g. CoporateRootPOM, this target may be useful if you need to make sure that you are using the latest version of CoporateRootPOM. versions:update-properties upgrades the features specified in a given configuration to match the latest available version of certain traces.

It can be useful when a number of traces must be blocked for all releases. versions:update-property Set a trait to the latest version in a specific area of associated items. versions:update-child-modules refreshes the top -level section of a project's subordinate module so that the version corresponds to the version of the actual product.

If you have, for example, an aggregate pop that is also the parental node for the aggregated tasks and the kids and parents releases are not synchronized, this pop can help repair the submodule releases. version:unlock-snapshots scans the page for all timestamped snapped releases and substitutes for them with -NAPSHOT. versions:resolve-ranges finds traces based on version areas and dissolves the area. versions:set can be used to adjust the version of the current version from the commandline.

version:use-releases scans the page for all approved SNAPSHOT distributions and substitutes them with the appropriate version. versions:use-next-releases scans the page for all non-SNAPSHOT distributions that were a newer version and substitutes them with the next version. version:use-latest-releases scans the PNAPSHOT page for all non-SNAPSHOT distributions that were a newer version and substitutes the latest version. versions:use-next-snapshots scans the PNAPSHOT page for all non-SNAPSHOT distributions that were a newer -SNAPSHOT version and substitutes the next -SNAPSHOT version.

releases:use-latest-snapshots scans the page for all non-SNAPSHOT releases that were a newer SNAPSHOT release and substitutes the latest SNAPSHOT release for them. versions:use-next-versions scans the page for all releases that were a newer release and substitutes the next release for them. version:use-late-versions looks in the page for all releases that were a newer version and substitutes them with the latest version. versions:commit will remove the pom.xml. versionBackup file.

Makes one half of the built-in "Poor Man's SCM". versions:revert recovers the fom. xml file from the pom.xml. versionBackup file.
