Standard Pacific Time Zone - PST
The Pacific default time is eight an hour behind the Coordinated Universal Time default, which was set as an 8 o'clock shift from ATC. This means that in order to find the default time in the area, you must deduct eight consecutive hour from the Coordinated World Time. Areas that observe the time zones are mainly located in North America.
In fact, the United States and Canada designate this area as Pacific Time or PT. It' known in Mexico as the Northwest Area. The Pacific Standard Time is used in the fall to early Spring month, and then the Pacific Daylight Time or PDT is used in the summer time (spring to fall months).
In comparison to adjacent time Zones, the PST is one half of the Mountain Time Zone, while the Alaska Time zone is one half of the Mountain Time Zone. The PST is also three and a half miles behind the Eastern Time and two and a half miles behind the Central Time. These areas are contained in the time zone:
