To view a individual position on a map
Below is a short tutorial on how to apply a Google Card to a Squarespace website. Covering individual and several location cards. It is our prefered approach for a standalone site because it provides simple set-up and a number of different styling choices.
On the Squarespace page, open the page on which you want to mount a card. Move the mouse pointer over the page contents and choose Edit. If you click on an insert point, choose a card block. Hint: Your location will be set by defaults if it is in your preferences, or you can type another location and hit submit to remove a new Pin.
Choose Store and you are done! More information about using the Squarespace map block can be found on this page. Please go to Google Maps. Please fill in your company name or an adress. Choose Split and click Embed Card. Use the drop-down list to choose the desired card sizes (small, middle, large or custom). Duplicate the specified number.
Then open the Squarespace page on which you want to mount a card. Move the mouse over your page contents and choose Edit. If you click an insert point, choose a block of codes, and then insert the duplicated codes. Choose Save and you are done! In order to view a multiple location on Squarespace, you can build a Google Maps location card and integrate it into your website.
Please visit Google Maps. Click on the menus in the upper right hand side next to the field (3 horizontally barred menus). Select Your Places > Maps > Create Maps. If necessary, give your card a name and a short text, and then click Saving. Now you can locate positions either visually by dragging the selection symbol and dropping it on the chart, or by searching for positions using the find field at the top of the canvas.
Manual addition of a location allows you to name the location and store it on the card. Or, if you're looking for and want to include places, a gray bar will appear on the maps, click the Attach to map button. Retry the 5th steps to complete all your sites. Ensure that the card is public: Click Split under the card name > under Who has acces, click Modify > Choose On - Open to the Web > Store.
You will see the number in a new screen, copy the number. Then open the Squarespace page on which you want to mount a card. Move the mouse over your page contents and choose Edit. If you click an insert point, choose a block of codes, and then insert the duplicated codes. Choose Save and you are done!
