Squarespace site Manager

Space requirements Site manager

The Site Manager on the leftside of the monitor does not display. Hello everyone, when I look at the Squarespace help pages/videos I see the Site Manager on the leftside of the monitor (I mean the darkgrey beam, I see the light-grey beam with "Pages", "Design" etc.). However, when I try to work on my site, the Site Manager does not appear.

Hello, you might be looking at the Squarespace 6 help pages, but your website operates the Squarespace 7 edit panel. http://help7.squarespace.com/ is the help page for Squarespace 7 people.

This is how you login to your Squarespace website

In order to start customising your website on Squarespace, you as a site holder must have permission to use it. One of the simplest ways to sign in to your website is to hit the Esc (Escape) button on your keypad when you open your website in your web browser. Go to your website under your Squarespace URL (http://your-account.squarespace.com or your own domain) and hit the Esc-Button.

Once the registration request is displayed, please type in your e-mail as well as your username and your username to access your website. If, for example, you are adding user-defined coding to your website that uses the Esc button to get out of a full-screen viewing environment, you will not be able to use the Esc button to sign in to your website. It is possible to deactivate the Esc button for registration on your website by going to Manager?Settings website.

Administering more than one Squarespace with the same email addresses and passwords will log you in to the last website you signed up for. In order to go to another Squarespace website that you administer or to which you are contributing, go to the Site Manager and click on the Squarespace icon in the lower L EFT of your web browsers.

Choose the other Squarespace site from the pop-up popup that will appear. In order to register directly on your website, you can either add a page to your website or fill in the registration form for your website (http://your-account.squarespace.com/config) in the URL box of your webbrowser. This will take you directly to the sign-in page, where you can input your email as well as your username and your username to sign in to your website.

In case you have forgotten your login code on your website, click on the Forgot your login code? button on the far right of the Login code box and enter the email you used to login to your website. We will send you an email containing a clickable button to reset your account name.
