Make sure that your video is not privately selected on your host's page because only publicly viewable video will play correctly on your website.

For each video, video hosts offer a specific embedded encoding each. Locating the embedded video key for your video will vary by hosting services. We suggest you contact your hosting provider if you cannot find the embedded video encoding for your video. Click + Show Preferences before you copy the Vimeo Encapsulation Key. Enable autoplay of this video and the embedded video will be adjusted. Then, insert this new encapsulation key into your video block. It is also possible to autoplay? 1 at the end of the embedded URL by hand. Certain index pages only allow automatic playback of video from gallery pages. Hint: Raster index pages do not allow video in the preview raster, but you can append auto-play video to the gallery pages within the index. When loading a video lasts a while, it probably needs this amount of buffering to take place. Lots of longer or high-definition video requires added loading times, especially if you're considering your web browser.
When you click on "...play" in a video, the backup will start. When you stop the video and are waiting for contents to be loaded in the background, you should be able to construct the buffers and playback the video with fewer problems. In YouTube, you can view related video after a video has finished playback. It is a YouTube function and is not driven by Squarespace.
This can be turned off by changing the sharing url or using an embedded key and turning off the embedded video setting. In order to view high-definition video, use the embedded video encoding to append the video, not the video URI. To upload 1080p high-definition video to Vimeo, you must have a Plus or PRO subscription.
The Vimeo activates "Tiny Mode" when a video block is less than 300 pixel width or 170 pixel height. In order to avoid this, users can watch the video block on a bigger screen. If you sign in to your site, the Vimeo and YouTube player do not provide a full-screen player experience. Wistia video is displayed in a smaller format on the project pages.
In order to prevent this problem, you can use a different video hosting platforms. Each video server determines when video playback counts, not Squarespace. Reproductions of embeddable video can increase the number of viewing modes according to where the video is hosted: YouTube - Does not include embeddable video viewing modes. YouTube, however, provides a break-down where your audience can find your video.

Most of the time, we suggest you upload your video to a hosted video hosting site. Each video share services that implements the oEmbed default can be added to these areas with its own encapsulated address or code:
Embedding ciphers cannot be added to the title page backgrounds. When this does not work and there is no issue with the embedded URI or coding (as with a typo), it is likely that the video hosts does not oEmbed. Instead, for these video clips, you can append an encapsulation key to a block of code.
User-defined arbitrary codes like this do not fall within the Squarespace assistance area.
