Suite Builder
Builder SuiteUser-defined records can be independently or simply linked to off-the-shelf assets such as clients or assets in dependencies that range from one to one, one to many, to far too many. The SuiteBuilder suite of utilities includes:
Graphic adjustment: SuitesBuilder
With SuiteBuilder, fast user interaction and fast deployment of apps is in the user's own hands, enabling designers to quickly prototyping and deploying customized client-side apps. Generate extended arrays that read and apply dynamic filtering to arithmetic and calculation arithmetic arenas. Simply administer your input boxes, sub-tabs, and input box groups to get exactly the right one. Append information from user-defined record (s) to entity objects, articles, or transaction information using user-defined arrays.
Maintain privileges such as transaction, report, form, search, and more.
NetSuite 2017.1 SuiteBuilder Features| NetSuite Update
As NetSuite is revamping on a broad front, this blogs focuses on SuiteBuilder upgrades, NetSuite's built-in set of utilities that allow "point and click" adjustment of the UI without the use of demanding engineering capabilities. Enhanced PDF template can now be associated with saved searches. Under Customize -> Forms -> Extended PDF Submissions you will find the "New Submission" pushbutton, with which you can select one of the available saved searches from a dropdown menu to which you can add a shortcut.
In addition, when generating a stored sweep, you will see the ability to generate a new associated sweep if you view the sweep in Edit session, as shown in the third screenshots below. After you associate a style sheet with a find, you can have your results printed in a PDF file by simply click the printing button and click the style sheet from the drop-down menu.
Print the saved search results: With this new feature, companies that need the opportunity to present information that may not be available through a simple or advanced PDF template will have a wealth of options. Stored searches offer the most efficient retrieval capabilities of NetSuite, but so far people have been compelled to reformat the results in an outside application (usually Excel) if they wanted to produce a stamped, high-quality paper.
1, the Advanced PDF Template link allows you to create reformatted PDF templates in seconds. Version 1 enhances the ability to import user-defined value sets and allows up to 25,000 value sets via CSV import. Better yet, NetSuite has refreshed the listing value displays on the NetSuite User -defined Listing page to enhance your ability to view large user - defined listings (think of thousand of values).
Thousands of times longer long are shown on a seperate page, which allows easy display and processing of results with the possibility to switch between value pages. However, for companies that use user-defined segments (user-defined classifications boxes that emulate class/department/location behaviors in data sets and transactions), the possibility to associate a user-defined Segment with any transactions or data set types can be crucial for accurately reporting said segments, especially if they have GL implications.
While NetSuite currently allows the use of user-defined vendor invoice payment segmentation, when using Pay Bill capability, where more than one vendor is paying at a given moment, a user cannot use segmentation. So if a user-defined slice is to be used on vendor invoice payments, the user would have to process each and every single deal to increase the value - a very time-consuming work.
1 allows a user to choose and deploy a user-defined slice on the Payroll page as it is currently done for other classifications such as class, department, and location. Notice that the user-defined segments must be used for vendor payments in order for the Invoice Payments tab to display.
