Transforming libertarianism into societalism was driven by the impulse of its own space. Classic liberals were driven by the faith in an idea of freedom and founded on a theoretical atomic nucleus of nationalism.

Those aspects of libertarianism necessarily foster an ideology based on transformation. Once the end of the free programme is achieved, contentment cannot be achieved for two reasons: the lip-service character of the free visions and the constant wish for freeing people. Hence the need to go beyond the tabloid societies that constituted the initial visions of libertarianism.

A key part of this understanding is the question of contractual arrangements. A major focus in what Mr. Evans called the " standardized handling " of our story is on welfare treaty theory of the state anchored in libertarian and enlightened thought. An extensive debate in The Theme Theme Is Freedom turns to the question of the treaty.

Mr. Evans points out that the concept of treaty between monarch and subjects stems from the practices of the feudal system, that the settlements were tied to the throne by a chart and that many of the early setstlers founded groups of religions on the basis of Kompakt. Thus the deep impact of free thinking on the nativity of our country is questioned.

Historical records and the literary legacies of the men who founded the French Empire indicate that it was minimum.
