As soon as you've done that, you'll get the Run Building options that will take you to the back end of your WordPress Dashboard, or you can choose to go to your Bluehost accounts. Take a look at one of our extensive step-by-step guides that will guide you through this process: New to WordPress, we suggest you read our How to use WordPress tutorial which is a free tutorial intro to WordPress for novices.

Wherever you want to register on your WordPress website, type in your domains and include /wp-admin at the end (e.g. com/wp-admin). You will then be redirected to your WordPress dashboard. WordPress' Dashboard or Administration is divided into 3 major areas: at the top we have the WordPress taskbar, the menus or administration menus are on the leftside, and the administration area is in the center, where we will do most of our work.

We' ll now give you a brief outline of each section - but for a more detailled look at our free tutorial on using WordPress, which is an introductory tutorial to WordPress for beginners. Here you will be informed about the basics of WordPress in about one lesson.

WordPress at the top is dynamically changing the available choices according to which page you are on and whether you are looking at the page from the front or back end. There are 3 major parts to the admin panel to the right of your dashboard: section, the Content Management section, and the Site Administration section.

Dashboard section provides simple dashboard accessibility, upgrades, and extra plug-in functionality. In the Content Management area, you author and administer articles, pages, media elements, commentaries and plug-in functions. In the Site Administration section, you set the site's look and feel preferences (including choosing the current site's look and feel, designing and maintaining menu and widget options, and adjusting your site's look and feel).

Here we also administer plug-ins, user, control WordPress preferences and activate topic and plug-in enhancements such as Social Share, Social Share, topic-specific preferences and safety. Finally, the master administration area acts as the prime working area and adapts to the selection from the administration area. In the following paragraphs we will go through some hands-on samples for each of them once we have uploaded our topic and are working with the contents.

It affects how your web page and post string URLs are made. Move your mouse over the preferences in the administration panel and choose PermaLinks. When you want to refresh your account information or create accounts on your site, you can do so by moving the mouse over "Users" in the administration panel on the right and choosing from the available choices.

Again, for a complete introduction to WordPress, we suggest you take a look at our WordPress tutorial. WordPress themes are a group of documents that work with the WordPress application to improve the look and feel of your WordPress Web site. Read our What is a WordPress topic for a more detailled outline.

In this tutorial we will use the best ranked website topic - Ultra by Themify. You' ll be uploading the themes as it is, so there is no need to unpack the files. Next, we are uploading the Ultra WordPress topic. When you want to add a children topic, you can either use our free children topicerator.

As an alternative, you can also use a plug-in named KindTheme Configurator to do this. As a result, the Ultra WordPress topic is uploaded and uploaded. This will take you to the Themify Preferences page. After the Ultra Topic is up and running, you can return to this page at any point by moving the mouse over the new Themify Ultra tabs and choosing Themify settings.

You' ll find that there are a number of tabbed pages in the Themify preferences pane. Here you have the possibility to bring in all your demonstration contents, themes preferences, widgets as well as menu items to reproduce exactly what you see on the Themify demonstration pages that can be seen by them: Or by going to the Ultra Topics page, then scroll to the demonstration area and follow the links to the respective demonstration website.

When you click on the skins you want to use, you will see that you have the ability to select the demonstration contents to use. You do not want to try importing the demonstration if you already have your website on your site. In order to get the necessary plug-in for your particular demo: In order to load and deploy the necessary plug-ins for your demo:

After installing the necessary plug-ins, return to the "Themify settings" pane by moving the mouse over "Themify Ultra" and choosing "Themify settings". Go back to the Skins & Demos page or update the page and we can now choose the demonstration we want to use. If this is the case, we go with the Agent skins and click on the "Import" button to add the demonstration contents to our website.

To date, we've gone through the process of configuring your WordPress website, loading the topic and plug-ins you need, and using the demonstration contents to get it up and running quickly. In this tutorial, we will build a new page and use it as the home page for our website so that you know how the home page is configured for your website.

Creating a new page: Walk through and build the remainder of the pages you want to integrate on your website by following the same procedure. Draw a rough outline for now, as we will learn how you can use Themify Builder to quickly customise your pages. When you want to embed a blogs on your website, post your blogs in the same way.

As soon as you have your category creation, you can add a new entry to your blog: Your last contributions will be included in the standard blogs page, unless you are creating a customized blogs page and setting it as your blogs page in the read preferences page, as we just did for the home page. If you want more information about everything we've discussed (or couldn't cover) in this tutorial, please click the following link to the Ultra or Themify Builder document pages.

Here you can get over 10 hour of detail that covers every item in the topic. In the meantime you should have rough sketched out the pages, contributions and catagories for your website. Now what we're going to do is design the menus for your website so that you can browse your site with ease as you expand your layout and contents.

WordPress' WordPress Menus are designed and maintained in a special area of the WordPress MenĂ¼ that you can reach by moving your mouse over Look in the Administrator window and choosing Menu. You will find on the right the available contents that you can append to your menue, such as If you want to include more items, click the OSD panel at the top and select the box next to the items you want to include in your list.

You can also activate the option to specify the destination of the links for a particular topic under'Screen Options', i.e. whether the links will be opened in a new folder or not, as well as allocate the links to specific class (es), which is a bit more sophisticated than what we will discuss today. To the right of the menus you have your own menus.

Had you been uploading the demonstration contents, a root line meal and a root line meal would have been provided for you. Otherwise, you must recreate the current one. It is also possible to insert user-defined hyperlinks to the website navigation on your website screen. Proceed in the same way to change the bottom line menu: A great thing about the Ultra topic is the possibility to incorporate megamus that are great from a UX point of view because they allow you to display large quantities of information in an effective way.

For more information about the Ultra topic available menus, see the literature. We now come to the overall themes preferences, where we can begin to tailor your website to your make and your styling. What's great about Ultra is that there are so many choices.

In this section, what we'll do is deal with the things that are important to everyone, such as putting your favicon, changing the head and menus of your site, and specifying the standard layouts for pages, postings, and other items. In order to use the Themify preferences, move the mouse pointer in your WordPress Dashboard over'Themify Ultra' and choose 'Themify Preferences'.

We' ll go through the "Settings" page and show the basics you need to know. Probably the best thing to do before jumping into Themify preferences is to first clarify a few things to make sure we're all saying the same thing. Concerning contents that have been released, the WordPress base structure comprises statistical pages, single articles, contributions to the portfolios and archives.

These are the pages of your website on which the contents are relatively stationary. Single postings are the blogs you post that are pertinent to your company, your sector, or your marketplace. Single contributions are grouped by category, which serves as an organizational tools and provides added focus and relevance to the user.

You can also add a tag to a single post. Single post portfolios are most frequently used to present samples of papers, case histories, etc. They work similar to single contributions if they are assigned to a categor. Archives pages are usually the pages of categories and show the single contributions or portfolios that are assigned to this particular group.

These pages serve mainly as an archives of the related articles. If, for example, you have had an accountancy company and have set up a blogsite on your website, you may have a section entitled "Advisory" with a series of articles on topics and policies of interest to your company. Clicking on the "Advisory" section on your website will take you to the "Advisory" archives page, which displays all contributions to the "Advisory" section.

Ok, so hopefully we're all on the same page, and we can now go through the Themify options. Here we use the standard layout for pages, single articles and archives as described before. In WordPress, the WordPress side bar is called the widget-enabled area and allows you to specify a globale side bar that will appear on all pages, articles, or library pages that have a side bar on them.

With Themify Ultra you have two widget-enabled areas that you can use - the default side bar and a slim side bar that you can integrate into your designs. New to WordPress, read the WordPress document to learn about what you can do with Widgets and widget-capable areas, as they are a great performance tool.

Broadcasts are maintained in their own special area that you can reach by moving the mouse over "Appearance" in the administration panel on the right and choosing "Widgets". Once you have uploaded the demonstration contents, you may have already added Widgets to the various side bars and other areas of the Windows app. In the Topic Phenomenon section, you can manage the overall publishing preferences for your website.

Topic Colour & Type - Here you can change the default colours, but have more influence over these preferences in the customiser section of the topic. Adjustment options differ according to which headline options you select. Ok, so these are probably the most important parts of Themify Builder.

It' s noteworthy that within pages and postings you have the option to overwrite Themify preferences for a particular page, which is a really strong function that gives you even more power and style controls over your website. You have full accessibility to all your website's unique styles in the customizable themes.

How to use the design customizer: Now we won't go through all the choices, but what we will do is go through the most important ones, like putting your logos, putting your trademark accents and refreshing the globals, etc., so that you have a sound grasp of how to use the themes customized.

It is recommended that you set your overall typefaces here, rather than using them on separate pages, especially because if you want to modify your opinion later and adapt something, you only need to do so in one place and not on every page. For more information about the various options, see the Customizing tutorial and the relevant section of the manual.

In order to make sure that you feel at ease with Themify Builder, we will go through an example of how to adapt one of the ready-made layout to your website layout. We' ll also show you how to rebuild a page from the ground up using Themify Builder module and predefined lines. Instead, we will discuss the basics of using the Builder and familiarize you with the most popular functions.

To delve further into something along the way, read the topic documentary to which we have provided the link. Click the "Enable Builders" button at the top of the icon bar if it has not yet started. It activates the Drag&Drop page creator, which is one of the best functions of Ultra.

After you have made a new page and enabled Themify Builder: Further handy and detailed samples can be found in the below mentioned document or in the tutorial videos. When you want your website to be accessible by Google, you must first make sure that your WordPress preferences do not block your website from being indexed by Google.

The Ultra topic allows you to insert the necessary track and trace information in the Themify Settings section. This concludes how we can create a 2018 web site tutorial for you. Hopefully you have found this WordPress tutorial useful and are well on your way to starting a new website for your company.
