Style - Thematization This manual contains everything you need to know about Themify Customize Panels. Covering the full range of functions available under the Customize Panels, it guides you through its effective use. Provides a short tutorial and demo of all functions available in the Themify Customize panel.

While we used the baseline topic as the basis for this document, other topics may have different items, but most will have the following options. Topics are organized with certain areas that you can adjust in the Customizing Panel, here is the organization of a default Themify theme: Both the backend and the frontend of your website provide access to the Themify Customizing Panel.

The following pages appear in the Customize area: This is the fonts of the principal fonts, from which all other text components are taken over. This will overwrite some of these options in the other styles, such as mail title, etc.

This is an example of the above mentioned text type, but all text items can be inherited by other text items that are defined on the text type area. This is the property that applies to the whole area of your site's human being. This is the default property that is used for the default text type. This is the property that applies to the fonts when a shortcut is displayed.

This is the property that is used for the fonts when the mouse is moved over a hyperlink by the mouse. Attributes available on the Bodyside tab are handled in the Customizing Attributes - Background, Fonts, and Borders & Spacing. On the Layout Container page, you can adjust the various container or section of the topic, such as page break, page width, center, contents, and side bar container.

This is the feature that is used on the page break containers of the topic. This is the property that is used on the page width containers of the topic. This is the property that is used for the central containers of the topic. This is the property that is used for the theme's contents containers.

This is the property that applies to the theme's side bar containers. Attributes available on the Layout Containers page are discussed in the Customize Attributes - Background and Borders & Spacing sections. Use the Headings tabs of the Customize control panel to apply style to the header tag (H1 through H6) in your work.

Please be aware that the style of the header labels can also influence the header labels used in the template (e.g. the postal label also uses H2 or H1 labels). Attributes available on the Caption page are discussed in the Customize Attributes - Fonts section. You use the Customize Form page of the Customize control panel to apply style to the various shapes on your Web site.

This is the property that is used by default for the default forms field. This is the property that applies to the shape field when it is checked and has a priority. This is the property that is used by default for the default forms button (e.g. "Send" or "Reset"). This is the property that is used to apply the shape button when the mouse is moved over it by the operator.

Attributes available on the Form page are discussed in the Customize Attributes section, using background, font, and border & spacing items. You use the Customize Control Panel Headers page to apply style to the website head. This is a property that applies to the whole topic head.

This is the property that is used on the inner wallpaper of the basic headers item. This is the property that applies to the font of the basic headerslement. This is the property that applies to the link within the headers. This is the property that applies to the link within the heading when the mouse is moved over it by the operator.

Attributes available on the Header page are discussed in the Adjust Attributes section, using background, font, border, spacing, width, and height items. Use the Site Logotype & Tagline tabs of the Customizing area to set and adjust the site logotype, site caption, and site tagline.

Customize the website tagsline with custom typefaces, text specials, orientations, and colours from the drop-down list of available drop-down menus. Attributes available on the Site Logo & Tagline tabs are discussed in the Customize Attributes section, using font, positioning, display, and width & height items. You can apply style to the home page on the Home page of the Customize control Panel.

Beneath Hauptnavigation there are several sections: This is the property that determines the location of the primary navigational containers. This is the property that applies to the top-level link in the submenu. This is the property that is used for the top-level link in the basic navigational menus when the mouse is over it.

This is the property that applies to the currently running page link in the top level drop-down list. This is the property that is used for the currently activated page link in the top level menus when the mouse is over it. This is the property that applies to the drop-down list of the primary navigator.

This is the property that applies to the left side drop down menus of the primary navigator. This is the property that is used for the left side of the drop down list of the primary navigator when the mouse is over it. Attributes available on the Header page are discussed in the Customize Attributes section, using background, font, border, spacing, and positioners.

Customize the Customize Panels Mail page to customize the Blogs Mail Layouts containers, the title of the blogs posted, the Mail Metro, the Mail Date, other links, the Mail Navas, and the Web site's Web site's title grids. This is the property that will be used on the Postcontainer of your website contributions.

This is the property that will be used on the headings of the postings on your site. This is the property that is used to apply the posting header when it is moved over the current page with the mouse. This is the property that will be used for the scripts used in the Grid4 mail heading. This is the property that will be used for the typefaces used in the Grid3 mailhead.

This is the property that will be used for the typefaces used in the Grid2 mailhead. This is the property that will be used on the typefaces used in the Grid2 thin mail titles. This is the property that applies to the typefaces used in the List Thursday Mail track. This is the property that applies to the typefaces used in the post-meta items.

This is the property that applies to the post-meta items when a shortcut is displayed. This is the property that applies to post-meta items when a mouse cursor is moved over a hyperlink by the operator. This is the property that will be used for the items after the date. This is the property that applies to the more links that can be displayed in blogs when you use the Full Content view or a customized digest.

This is the property that will be used on the more shortcut when it is hidden by the endowment. This is the property that is used for the basic item's navigational pane. This is the property that applies to the left side within the postal navigational item. This is the property that is used to apply hyperlinks within the post-navigation item when the mouse is moved over them by the operator.

This is the property that applies to the mail nav icon within the mail navigator. Attributes available on the Mail Navigator page are discussed in the Customize Attributes section, using font, background, and border & spacing items. On the Page Title page of the Customize control panel, you can style the title of pages on your website.

Attributes available on the Page Title page are discussed in the Customize Attributes - Font section. In the Customize area, the Customize pane's side bar page is used to apply style to the side bar. These are the characteristics that are applicable to scripts in the item side bar. This is the property that applies to any link in the side bar item.

This is the property that applies to a link in the side bar item when the mouse is moved over it by the mouse. This is the property that applies to the wide containers areas in the side bar. This is the property that will be used on the Widgetitles in theidebar. This is the property that applies to the Widget elements in theidebar.

Attributes available on the Sidebar page are discussed in the Customize Attributes section, using Background, Fonts, and Borders & Spacing Items. Use the Customize footer page to apply style to the footer. Below footer there are several sections: Selects the submenu to be displayed in the footer of the navigational toolbar.

This is the property that will be used on the footer containers of your website's menus. This is the property that applies to the footer line item's footer line menus. This is the property that applies to the footer line menus when a mouse cursor is moved over a shortcut. This is the property that is used for the footer line menus when a footer line item is on.

This is the property that applies to the footer line menus when an enabled footer line shortcut is overridden by the current owner. This is the property that applies to the whole foot pedestal of your website. This is the property that applies to the whole inner foot pedestal of your site. This is the property that applies to scripts in the footer line item.

This is the property that applies to left footers in the footer item. This is the property that applies to footer left elements when the mouse is moved over them by the mouse. This is the property that will be used for the areas of the Widget-Box in the footer. This is the property that will be used on the Widgetitles in the footer.

This is the property that applies to the Widget lists in the footer. Attributes present on the Footer page are discussed in the Customize Attributes section, using background, font, border, and spacing entities. With this function you can set up the home page of your website, either to display your last posting or a statical page that you can select from the drop-down menu.

The Customize panel also allows you to customize, delete or rearrange your Widget area. You can use the User-Defined Custom Web page in the Customize pane to apply your own customized Web design to your design. Restore All Customizations allows you to restore the whole of the customizations you made with the Customizing panel on your Web site, even the changes in style made with user-defined stylesheets.

You can find this function at the bottom of the Customize Panel. The reason for this is that some of the topic items on the tray or phone are not usable or cannot be adapted. Various styles are available that can be individually adjusted, and these differ from table to table, but all fall into the following categories:

Wallpaper: defines an picture for the backdrop of an item. Wallpapers can be configured in one of the following ways: Select one of the existing wallpapers from the preview lists, enter an upload picture URL or upload a picture. If you activate "No wallpaper", the wallpaper is removed.

Wallpaper color: The background-color attribute defines a font size for the wallpaper of an item. Here you can also select a wallpaper colour by entering a colour by hand, or by clicking on the checkbox next to the text and a colour selection menu will appear. Wallpaper repetition: The background-repeat option determines whether or not a wallpaper should be used.

Repetition = The wallpaper is replicated both in vertical and horizontal direction. Wallpaper position: For example, a value in the middle right would launch the wallpaper from the right of the vertical centred part.

Specify the text item typeface dimensions and choose the unit types to use from the (Pixel, em, %) Typeface Family drop-down list: Properties font-family defines the typeface for an item. You can use the drop-down menus to choose a typeface for the text item from a drop-down box of default typefaces.

Specify the width of each row in the text item and choose the unit to use from the (Pixel, em, %) Text Decoration drop-down list: Colour: The colour attribute colour determines the colour of the text for an item. You can adjust the colour by typing a colour key yourself or by dragging and dropping the text in the space next to the text to open a colour selection.

The edge delimits the area around the elements. You use the boxes to specify the amount of margins for each page of an item. A padding function is used to define the distance between the boundary of the selected object and the contents of the selected object. You can use the boxes to adjust the amount of cushioning for each side of an item. Specify the location of an item.

State = Places the elements where they are placed within the regular layouts stream. Fix = Places the item at a specific location, as indicated below in pixel from one side of the item (top/bottom, left/right), and remains here even when scrolling the page. Absolute = Places the item at a certain distance in relation to its regular location.

Absolute = Places the item at a location, such as below in pixel from one side of the item (top/bottom, left/right), related to the first non-static superordinate item. Page caption = Displays the website caption in the website logotype item. Picture = This displays an picture in the website's logotype area.

Hint Customization dates are associated with the enabled design (that is, if you change to a different design, the customization choices are different). Use the Customize export and import function in the Customize area to transfer the customization information from one Themify topic to another Themify topic. When you see your customization information disappear after you activate a sub design, don't worry.

Just have the customize file exported with the higher-level design enabled, then go to the lower-level design and customize it to your needs.
