The Themify window displays a message when an updated document is available. Or you can find out by checking the versions on the Themify panels.
Top right hand top and bottom right hand corners show the theme's release number and the bottom right hand corners show the Themify Frame number. In order to update the topic, click on the "Update now" hyperlink. Updating the topic has no effect on the configuration information. However, to be sure, go to the Transfer page and click the Export icon to back up the preferences.
Also, you can verify that upgrades are available or reinstall your design by selecting the Update page. Search for Updates: Verifies that there are available fixes for your design and your frameworks. The design will then be reinstalled in older releases. Reinstall theme: Reinstall the topic for yourself with the latest release.
If the automatic update has been unsuccessful, you can update the design using FTP. The FTP approach is also great if you can't log into your WordPress Dashboard. If, for example, the current design damages your WordPress page, you can fix the problem by logging on to your FTP site and deleteing/renaming the current topic directory.
Then WordPress resets the current design to the standard design. Updating topics with FTP: Log in to the Member Dashboard to update the latest zipped file. In case it is a free topic, just redownload the file from our website. Our site is always the latest zipped file.
Unzip the latest tip on your computer. Navigate to the directory "wp-content > themes". Prior to replacing directories or folders on your computer servers, we suggest that you copy the latest topic to your computer's hard disk for your own use. Then, overwrite the whole topic directory. Unless you have edited a kernel topic or added a custom_style.css and custom-functions.php, it is secure to reinstall the topic without loosing the topic preferences and contents.
Use the Topic Uloader to reinstall the latest Topic Zip. Save your Themify Panel preferences again before reinstalling the design. In order to save the themeify panels preferences, click on the Transfers tabs in the themes panels and then on the Exports buttons. Log in to the Member Dashboard to get the latest zipped file. Log in to WP Admin.
Momentarily enable a different design (design cannot be removed if it is active). Click on the "Delete" icon to delete the topic (the "Delete" icon is below the topic screenshot). Click on the "Install Theme" page (at the top of the page), click on the "Upload" hyperlink, load the latest version of your themes tip and enable it (see the themes installation tutorial).
The use of the Simple Topic and Upgrade Plugins is a quick and simple way to upgrade and save your design simply. Be sure to save your Themify-Panel settings before you begin before reinstalling the design. In order to save the themeify panels preferences, click on the Transfers tabs in the themes panels and then on the Exports buttons.
It also creates a topic back-up and then uploads the topic back-up to your home directory. Please click here to get the latest version of the plug-in Simple themes and upgrades. Log in to the Member Dashboard to get the latest zipped version. Log in to WP Admin. At the top of the page, click the Submit Topic icon.
Press the Search Files icon to search for your zipped files on the topic. Usually it says "Browse...", "Select file" or "Select...". Please click on the zipped archive with the new themes you want to use. In the " Update Available Topic?" item, click Yes. When you need to back up the Themify Preferences window, go to the Transfer page and click the Export icon to back up the preferences.
If this is the case, you must update using the FTP methods.
