Within a delivery network, a vendor is a business that provides goods or provides goods orervices. Usually a delivery vendor produces warehouse goods and resells them to the next member in the store network. Today, these concepts relate to a vendor of goods or sevices. Suppliers or suppliers are defined in the field of logistics as anyone who provides goods or sevices for a business or individual.

Suppliers often produce inventoryable articles and then sell them to a client. Suppliers are usually traced either in a financial system or in a stock control system. Orders are usually used as contract agreements with suppliers to buy goods or work. Sellers may or may not act as merchants of goods.
