Add and manage products
Prior to we add your first item, we'll familiarize ourselves with how item catagories, labels and features work. Products catagories and tagging work much like regular catagories and tagging you have when you write messages in WordPress. You can do this when you are creating or returning a specific item for the first time and editing it or the category/tag specifically.
You can add these for each individual item, or you can create globally applicable shop properties for the whole shop (e.g. in multi-level navigation). Once we' ve established our attribute and category settings and we' ve managed our inventory, we can start to add products. If you add a specific item, the first thing you need to know is what kind of item it is.
Easy - Covering the overwhelming bulk of all the products you can yours. Basic products are sent and have no option. Groups - a set of related products that can be bought separately and consists only of basic products. Virtuell - one that does not need shipment. Neither will a virtuell produkt activate the dispatch computer in the shopping basket and at the cash register.

Please note: Virtuals do not need to be shipped - an order with Virtuals does not cost anything to ship. Most of the important information for your products is added to the Products Info Meta-Box. There are other ways to configure Featured in the following section: Highlight a Featured item. Grouped products are generated in the same way as basic products. All you need to do is choose Grouped from the dropdown list labeled Type of Name. Browse down to Browse products and choose Grouped from the drop-down list.
That' s standard because a grouped item is a set of "child items" in which you are adding this information. But the grouped one is still an empty group. Choose the grouped item to which you want to attach products. Browse down to the products data and go to the linked products. Please click on the products you want to be added. In order to find the ID, go to Products and move the mouse pointer over the products for which you need the ID. This displays the item ID number. Choose whether to allow backorder items from the drop-down list when you manage the inventory of a given item.
