The way you do things with words: Produce research and scientific documents with Microsoft Word. If you use a word processor such as Word, do not use the carriage return at the end of each line. Search for words or phrases within a specific article.

2.1 Why you should not press the return key at the end of each line

To those of you who have just arrived, this is one page in the Word Basic Concepts family. If you are using a type writer, you must use the Carriage Returns at the end of each line. The basic units of type writing are, if you like, a line.

Enter a line and then use the Carriage Returns. A basic entity in a Word file is a clause. If you use a word processing program such as Word, do not use the carriage returns at the end of each line.
