Create a Wordpress Blog Template

Creating a Blog Page in WordPress Once you have set up your website, you are probably asking how to create a blog page in WordPress. You have your website with a few statical pages like the home, about us, get in touch with us, provide our service and now you want a seperate page that shows all your blog entries in one go. WorldPress is great at being both your web site and giving you a place to post your blog post.

First, create two pages on your website. If you are using a WordPress topic that has a Home template when you create the Home page, you can select it from the drop-down list as follows. Second page will be the page that contains all your blog post. We call this second page Blog.

Some WordPress topics, like the home page, have a blog template from the drop-down list. And if so, choose it and post your page. Modify the "A Stable Page" check box and choose the title page and blog page from the drop-down lists. Your blog postings will also appear on your blog page, but we need to include the page in your menue so you can get to it quickly.

To use Visual Composer to create blog entries, use the Page Template as described above or use Visual Composer to create a customized blog, as described below.

Or you can create a "blog" by using a page that is empty and pasting one of the available moduls to view your blog entries. Latest News - shows your latest news with a small date on the page (optional), but can also be used as a raster. If you want to modify the look of your blog posting, you can navigate to Aussehen > Anpassen > Blog > Single and modify your "Single Layouts Elements".
