Before you can insert elements, you must create a menu. Choose Menus from the Aussehen menu on the dashboard's menu bar on the far right to open the Menu Editor. Press the Create Menu pushbutton. Now your new user menu has been created. There are several different kinds of links you can include in your menu, divided into areas to the right of the menu you are currently working on.
Press the Append to Menu pushbutton at the bottom of this area to apply your selection(s) to the menu you made in the preceding stage. After you have added all the menu options you want, click the Save Menu icon. Now your user -defined menu has been stored. The on-screen options allow you to select which elements you can include in a menu.
Some elements, such as tags, are suppressed by setting the standard. To extend the menu item/box, click on the arrows in the upper right area. Immediately removes the menu item/box. Press the OK key to confirm your changes and click the OK key to confirm. Navigational Label This indicates the name of the element in your user-defined menu.
Genuine A hyperlink to the Genuine Menu Point originator ( e.g., a hyperlink to display the article or page). The following elements are suppressed by standard. The text is shown when a user's cursor is moved over a menu point.
Optional Classes for this menu option Link Relation (XFN) Allows you to generate XFN tags so you can see how you relate to the authors/owners of the website you are linked to. Descriptions are shown in the menu if supported by the design.
To extend, click on the arrows in the upper right of the menu point. Specify the mandatory field that you want to allocate to the line items. Press the OK key to confirm your changes and click the OK key to confirm. To plan the menu layout, it is helpful to consider each menu option as a header in a paper form.
Dragging the menu points up or down changes the order in which they appear in the menu. Dragging the menu points to the right or right creates sublevels in your menu. In order to be able to assign a menu point to another one, you must place the "child" under its "parent" and then pull it slightly to the right.
Move the cursor over the menu point "Child". Hold down the right arrow and pull the right arrow to the right. Let go of the mousebutton. For each submenu point, follow these instructions again. In the menu editor, click the Save Menu button to save your changes. And if your design currently works with user-defined menu items, you can easily include your new menu in one of the topic items.
Browse to the bottom of the menu edit screen. From the Topic Sites section, select the Site where you want your menu to appear radio button. After you have made your choice, click the Store menu. lf your design does not currently include user-defined menu options, you will need to create your new menu using the Appearance Widgets screen Appearance Menu widget.
Now your new customized menu has been added to your website.
