Php - Put page titles in your head?

In WordPress, the page title is usually displayed in the Contents pane. I want the page title to appear in the head area. Looks like I would do that, I would have to take it from its actual position in the contents page.php and place it in header.php. However, contents-page.php is invoked by page.php, which invokes the contents page within a while queue (while ( have_posts() ) ) : the_post(); ....) )

so I' d have to move it or copy it to the headers, too, I guess. Wouldn't it make more sense to move a part of the html headers into the page contents so that I don't have to execute the while cycle more than once? With the following token, in the head (outside the loop):

Page name: ' . ; ? : Yes': No'); If I'm seen from my About Us page, I get: If I' m seen from my homepage, I get: from a Hello Worlds mail, I get: I can also test is_page(.....) to see a particular page name when looking at a posting.
