WorldPress is available in more than 80 different tongues, largely due to the many voluntary workers in the congregation who sent in translation. The translation of WordPress into a new foreign tongue allows users around the globe to take full benefit of this open resource publication tool to make their voice heard. What's more, WordPress can be translated into a new foreign tongue.
Additionally to the translation, some language and culture have different demands on post-meta information. WinP-parsidate is a relatively new plug-in that was developed as a Persian packet generator for WordPress. The Shamsi or Jalali calendars, the Persian calendars tradition is supported by this plug-in.
Writes data in articles, commentaries, pages, files, searches and catagories to use the Shamsi calender. WP Parsidate also provides the following functions: Basically, this plug-in offers a better Persian with WordPress. Installing it just for laughs and it's astonishing how it fully converts the WordPress front end and back end.
I took this screenshots from a test page where I didn't even have the Persian translator active: Although Persian-speaking people make up a small percentage of WordPress global user base, it is quite inspiring to see a plug-in that changes WordPress to better present contents for their own use. When you have a friend blogging in Persian, make sure you are sharing the WP-parsidate plug-in with them.
