Wordpress Screenshot
Worldpress ScreenshotIn accordance with the WordPress Topic Developer Code, the screenshot sizes suggested for the topic are 1200px width and 900px high. Notice that some sites still recommend the old 880 x 660 pixel low definition footprint. It has recently been upgraded in the WordPress Code to accommodate the new 1200 x 900 pixel suggested resize.
This code also states that the screenshot is usually displayed in a smaller format, but the higher picture definition allows it to be viewed on HiDPIs. Please also be aware that the screenshot is displayed on the highly reactive Manage Topics monitor and the upper and lower parts of the screenshot may not be fully viewable.
Therefore it is advisable to keep the images centered in the picture. The WordPress topic screenshot is probably the simplest to memorize. Sometimes I know you can be slightly puzzled, but you should always keep in mind that it's a screenshot instead of describing it as other options such as an actual picture. One more thing you should take into account is the size you need to store your WordPress screenshot.
We recommend a screenshot of the topic in .png form. Whereas other formats.jpg,.jpeg and.gif can be applicable extension and files for the screenshot of the topic, they are not formally endorsed by WordPress Codex. And if you're a novice who follows this post and wants to modify the screenshot of your topic as it appears in the Manage Topics monitor in your WordPress Dashboard, you can make a screenshot as above and submit it to the Topics folder.
Once you have registered with the FTP programme, browse to the topic folder and load the screenshot.png from there. The screenshot must be replaced. In summary, the WordPress topic screenshot should be 1200 x 900 pixel, which is stored in your topic folder as screenshot.png.
