Necessity (Web)

Article containing only an externally linked page and a short content specification can be removed. Issues that do not meet the stability requirements are treated in two ways: merge and delete. Items that may not be noticeable can be tagged with the submission {{notability}} to alert other writers to the issue.

As an alternative, the suggested delete operation can also be used for items that are undisputed delete items, while the submission {{{db-web}}} can be used to select an item for quick delete; see criteria Q7 for detail. Remarkably in the glossary means "noteworthy" or "conspicuous". Nothingness merely demands that these necessary resources should already be available, not that the resources have already been mentioned in the paper.

"Nothingness " is not the same as "fame" or "importance", and even web contents that editorial staff consider to be " important" or "famous" are only considered remarkable if they have demonstrably caught attention. Nothing on the Web is exempted from this obligation, regardless of the nature of the work.

Unless the particular web contents have been given little or no notice by independents, they are not remarkable just because other web contents of their kind are generally remarkable or just because they exist (see "If the contents are not remarkable," below). In assessing the perceptibility of web contents, account shall be taken of whether they have had a significant or verifiable impact on cultural, social, recreational, sporting, athletic, economic, historical, literary, scientific or educational environment.

High frequency web sites are likely to have more easily accessible, auditable information from trusted resources that is highly visible. But even smaller sites can be remarkable. Any standard should not be used to produce a distortion in favor of bigger web sites. No web contents are remarkable just because a remarkable individual, company or incident has been associated with them.

When the web contents themselves have not received a notification, then the web contents are not remarkable. If, for example, a well-known individual has a website, then the website "inherits" no instability from its owners. Often in such cases it is best to describe the website in the articles about the well-known people.

Similarly, a website can be remarkable, but the owner or author "inherits" no instability because of the web contents they have written. Considering that all items must comply with the Directive on verification vis-à-vis trusted resources and that non-independent and self-published resources alone are not enough to ensure credibility, web-specific content[3] may be noteworthy because it meets one of the following criteria:

Contents themselves have been the object of several non-trivially publicized works, the sources of which are separate from the website itself. It covers reliably republished works in all formats, such as newsletters, journalistic articles, booklets, TV guides, web sites and reported material produced by consumers' inspection organisations[4], with the exception of reprints of news items in the news and advertisements for the contents or the web site[5] or simple reporting, such as: a brief abstract of the type of contents or the publishing of web sites and web sites, news items reporting only on the periods when those contents are actualised or made available, and DeepL contents in directory or on-line shops.

A thorough quest for unbiased, trusted third-party resources is almost always effective when one or both of these conditions are met. Materials about web contents that are not eligible for discrete, stand-alone contents can be obtained by including them in related items if: they have the appropriate degree of detail and meaning for that item; they contain information that can be validated by unrelated resources.

Contents that are not eligible for a self-contained independent web page can be described in a related web page such as the web pagephenomenon. Materials about Web sites may be combined into items about the companies that own the Web sites. Skip up ^ Posts about sites or contents that don't meet these policies but are related to a theme or theme that deserves to be included can be directed to that theme or theme instead of being scheduled for removal.

Moves up ^ Web site discussion should be included in an articles about the mother organisation (with redirection if necessary), unless the Web site name is the most commonly used way of relating to the organisation. Upward leap ^ Self-promotion and placing products are not the paths to an encyclopaedia entry.

Whether individuals who are unrelated to the individual (or his or her producer, maker or seller) have actually deemed the contents or website dignified enough to have created and posted non-trivial works that concentrate on them is the credibility censor. The nomination for such an accolade in several years can also be seen as an indication of its importance.
