Los Angeles Youth Orchestra

YOLA at EXPO Center, part of Exposition Park in Southern LA, has been expanded to offer three orchestra, mentoring, group classes, room concerts and parenting programmes. This programme is aimed at several hundred pupils taking part four daily perweek. Furthermore, the pupils appear in the Walt Disney Concert Hall every year and have performed several concerts on the legendary Hollywood Bowl arena.

The YOLA at the EXPO Center is a joint venture of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, Harmony Project, and the EXPO Center, an institution of the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks. YOLA at HOLA (Heart of Los Angeles) is situated in the Rampart district and offers intense post-school orchestra lessons to thousands of pupils five nights a week. YOLA at HOLA (Heart of Los Angeles) is the most popular orchestra in Los Angeles.

Our integrated approaches promote a feeling of fellowship and enable our pupils to take full benefit of HOLA's outstanding programmes and capabilities. HOLA's YOLA is a collaboration between the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association and Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA). The YOLA site in LACHSA is the third site of the YOLA Initative.

Located on the Cal State LA Campus, Los Angeles County High School für the Arts has provided impressive study opportunities for LA County learners to feel comfortable and distinguished in the arts and academia while working toward their vision of the world.

Currently, K-3 pupils in the Westlake/MacArthur Park area in Los Angeles are supervised here. In the course of the years it will be serving K-12 pupils on the Kayne Siart Campus and Miramar Campus of the Camino Nuevo Charter Academy. The YOLA at the Camino Nuevo is the first school-based YOLA scheme that democratizes entrance to a strict sequence of musical training through the classroom setting and combines with extra musical lessons in the afternoons.
